Kokan Ganapati Print Series
Set of 6 prints, sold together
Six scenes. One Ganapati.
Six prints in fine black grain, together telling the story of Ganapati in the Kokan:
Agman (the arrival): a man carries the idol home on his head.
Pravas (the journey): a bus rolls past with its passengers at the windows.
Bhajan (the song): an old man plays the harmonium to a packed room.
Vamakukshi (the rest): someone sleeps in a chair before the shrine.
Naivedya (the offering): hands shapes modaks.
Gauri (the mother): Ganapati’s mother, with a bindi, nose ring, bangles and layered necklaces.
We take our prints seriously. Each one is printed on enhanced paper, and in person you can feel the texture under your fingertips. A photo can’t show that.
The series is sold together, as a set of six. Every print comes with a letter of authenticity.
